“If we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us of our sins.” – 1 John 1:9
“Just admit you did it, and we’re good.” I have heard this exchange on more than one occasion between my students. It usually requires a good amount of arm-twisting before the guilty party comes around to confessing, but he realizes it’s always worth it in the end. Multiply that feeling by about as much as you can, and then you’ll understand what it’s like to be forgiven for your sins. It’s nothing short of amazing. It’s a forgiveness we’re never going to deserve, but it’s one that we’re always going to receive.
