“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13
Before I was saved, I was a constant spectator in many facets of life. My spectating wasn’t limited to sports or the arts like it was for most people. It branched out to toppling giants like homelessness, drug addiction, etc. These are problems I had always let others take on while I stood by and cheered them on. Sure, I’d drop a dollar in a collection plate or stick a coin in a cardboard slot to help cure cancer every once in a while, but that was about it. I always assumed it required a certain inner strength to take it a step further. It was an inner strength I lacked or tricked myself into thinking I lacked. Christ changed all of that for me though. In Him and with Him, I found that strength. Spectator no more.
